charming hotel and restaurant L'Alchimy

The Alchimy adventure began in 2012, when Laurent Miquel, a former business manager in the bathroom furniture industry, decided to take on a bold challenge: to breathe new life into the building at 10-12 Place du Palais in Albi. This building, a former notary's office that had been abandoned for twenty years, became the starting point for an ambitious project.

Accompanied by his nephew Nicolas and his niece Laura, Laurent opened the Alchimy house in September 2014. Initially a brasserie, the establishment evolved rapidly and a few months later welcomed a refined 4* hotel, combining elegance and conviviality.

A few years later, the family had a decisive encounter with Adrien Cagnelle. Together, they formed a complementary and passionate team. With their respective skills, the four partners will grow Alchimy: expansion of the restaurant and the hotel, creation of the Speakeasy bar and development of seminar rooms.

Today, Alchimy is an Albi institution, recognized for its excellence and its warm welcome. This success is the fruit of the work of a loyal and committed team who, for 10 years, have participated in writing this beautiful story.
